The Best Christmas Food Ever (BBC Two, 6pm)
Today marks one week until Christmas Eve, so you best believe there are plenty of Christmas specials on telly this week. Tonight, Irish chef Catherine Fulvio is joined by Paul Ainsworth and a host of special guests as they all share their culinary secrets to help you get the most out of your Christmas. If you cosy up to this for the food, you’ll find that there’s plenty of entertainment too, with the chats that Paul and Catherine have with Martine McCutcheon, Christopher Biggins, Dev Griffin and Jay Blades. They also go out to meet a couple with an extra-tall Christmas tree as they prepare to switch on the lights, and pay a visit to to couples attempting to break the record for kisses under the mistletoe.
Mary Berry’s Christmas Party (BBC One, 8.30pm)
One of the main events tonight is Mary Berry’s Christmas Party, in which she is joined by newsreader Huw Edwards, Poldark actress Eleanor Tomlinson, comedian Joe Lycett and sprinter Dina Asher-Smith who are there to give her a hand in preparing dishes perfect for any festive get-together. From traditional meals like peppered fillet of beef with brandy sauce and roast potatoes, to some new ideas like pan-fried halloumi with fresh tomato chutney and plenty of desserts too.
Food Unwrapped (Channel 4, 8pm)
Jimmy Doherty heads to Sri Lanka to find out if there’s anything in yuletide spices that can give an individual an extra dose of Christmas cheer, while Matt Tebbutt visits a mince pie factory as they churn out the season’s supply of baked goods. Helen Lawal checks if sprouts are as clean as we think when they make it to the supermarket, and Kate Quilton looks at the festive roasts of Christmas past.
Everybody’s talking about… Daniel and Lily from The Undateables

Over the weekend, news broke that Daniel Wakeford and Lily Taylor, a pair who hit it off on Channel 4′s Undateables Christmas apecial, have recently gotten engaged. Their relationship since last year’s episode has all been documented (right up to the proposal) in a new episode of the show called The Undateables: A Festive Proposal which will air tomorrow night.
