DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Tonight, Irish chef Catherine Fulvio is joined by Paul Ainsworth and a host of special guests as they all share their culinary secrets to help you get the most out of your Christmas. If you cosy up to this for the food, you’ll find that there’s plenty of entertainment too, with the chats that Paul and Catherine have with Martine McCutcheon, Christopher Biggins, Dev Griffin and Jay Blades. They also go out to meet a couple with an extra-tall Christmas tree as they prepare to switch on the lights, and pay a visit to to couples attempting to break the record for kisses under the mistletoe.

Mary Berry’s Christmas Party (BBC One, 8.30pm)

One of the main events tonight is Mary Berry’s Christmas Party, in which she is joined by newsreader Huw Edwards, Poldark actress Eleanor Tomlinson, comedian Joe Lycett and sprinter Dina Asher-Smith who are there to give her a hand in preparing dishes perfect for any festive get-together. From traditional meals like peppered fillet of beef with brandy sauce and roast potatoes, to some new ideas like pan-fried halloumi with fresh tomato chutney and plenty of desserts too.

Food Unwrapped (Channel 4, 8pm)
